Fox Lane Books – Indie Bookshop Spotlight
NB: This is not a sponsored post. I just genuinely love this shop and my review is based upon my many experiences of ordering from Fox Lane Books, over the years.

This month’s indie bookshop spotlight is Fox Lane Books!

Fox Lane Books is a wonderful online indie bookshop, ran by Kirstie and Jakob in North Yorkshire. I’ve been buying from them for a few years now and the service has always been incredible.

All of my books have always been carefully wrapped, and are always in perfect condition. Plus they have such an incredibly varied selection! Being an indie bookshop, they also frequently sell gorgeous indie editions of newly-released books, which are often signed as a bonus.

They also offer book subscriptions for a variety of genres, will order in any book you’re looking for, and be sure to check out the brilliant £5 hardback sale!

“Fox Lane Books aims to deliver a well-organised, professional, and friendly service providing curated books and literature to both specialist events and the wider community through our online shop.”

Kirstie, with her extensive former experience as an Events Manager, also provides pop-up bookshops at a range of events from literary festivals to author events.

I love this shop and I’m so glad I came across them. Indie bookshops are facing fierce competition from some of the bigger shops and resellers out there, and I think it’s important to keep them alive. I’ve found so many books while browsing the site that I don’t think I’d have come across otherwise – and discovered many indie authors I now adore.

So go check them out and support this fantastic Yorkshire indie bookshop! They definitely deserve it.

Hello, I’m Gemma. Witchy woman, goth, future ghost.
I’ve always been a lover of good, old-fashioned ghost stories, gothic literature, and fantastical worlds. Here you’ll find book reviews ranging across genres such as gothic romance and horror, contemporary fiction, fantasy, historical fiction and romance. With the occasional non-fiction book too.

When I’m not buried under my books, I’m usually playing The Legend of Zelda and/or making videos about it. Connect with me over at TheZeldaScrolls on YouTube.
