February and March Reading Recap: Re-Reads and Exciting News

Given we’re almost at the end of March, I know I’m incredibly late in posting this. But in all honesty, I didn’t really read any new books in February. I made such a good start in January and then quickly fell into a slump, and just ended up re-reading ACOTAR. I also started exercising again in March which, given I haven’t exercised in years at this point, is absolutely sapping any energy I have to spare.

However, this morning I woke up to the extremely exciting news that I’ve been approved for an ARC of A Claiming of Souls by R. A. Sandpiper!

This is my first ARC and I could not be more excited to finish it, I’ve already dove straight into reading it and Gods. It is not a disappointment. Already I’ve been giggling and kicking my feet at certain scenes. I’m almost sad this is the last book in the Amefyre series, with it being a trilogy. But at least R. A. Sandpiper is continuing to write other books beyond the series so, I’ll have those to look forward to!

Otherwise in March, my re-reading of ACOTAR continued. I also received a free copy of Lupa by Alexandra Lattey in exchange for a review! So that will be posted as soon as I’m finished reading.

In other news, I’ve also set up a Wraithful Reads profile on TikTok! So feel free to connect with me over there if you’re also a fellow booktoker.

Otherwise there’s some incredible books I’ve amassed over the month of March including:

  • The Crimson Road – A. G. Slater
  • Ghostland – Edward Parnell
  • The Burnings – Naomi Kelsey
  • The House of Footsteps – Mathew West
  • A Forgery of Roses – Jessica S. Olson
  • The Beholders – Hester Musson
  • The Nesting – C. J. Cooke
  • Faeblood – Saara El-Arifi
  • Cursebound – Saara El-Arifi
  • Annie – Paul Smith
  • Careless People – Sarah Wynn-Williams

Which have all been added to my TBR pile, and I’m very much looking forward to getting through!

So a slow couple of months which involved a lot more buying books than reading them but. A personal library is more like having your own wine cellar IMO, the books are there when you’re ready for them.
